Lunch in Detroit

On July 10, a group of St. Clarians will prepare a hot lunch at Church at Crossroads (an Episcopal Diocese church plant) on W. Grand Blvd in Detroit for families in the neighborhood, in conjunction with the mission’s Vacation Bible School. We will take all the lunch ingredients to Detroit to prepare and serve them on site under the supervision of the kitchen staff at Crossroad of Michigan, a social service outreach agency that supports the community by providing emergency assistance, advocacy and counseling. To help with this Outreach activity, you can donate to the cost of the lunch supplies (mark donations ‘CROSSROADS LUNCH’; click here to give online, choose the Outreach fund, and put ‘CROSSROADS LUNCH’ in the comments) or volunteer to help with the preparation/serving (contact John Renehan).  Donations received in excess of the lunch costs will go to Church at Crossroads as a direct donation.
