Sunday, July 16, 1:30 p.m. — RSVP to Linda Klimach by July 3

“Embracing Our Differences,” the popular art exhibit many of us remember from last year, has returned to Gallup Park with a new set of artwork for 2023. This year’s visit is a special Genesis event, to be shared with members of St. Clare’s, TBE, and our friends, families, and guests. You won’t want to miss this opportunity, so please plan to join us on July 16.

“Embracing Our Differences” is a juried outdoor exhibit that features 60 billboard-size images created by local, national, and international artists, writers, and students reflecting their interpretations of the theme “enriching our lives through diversity.” The exhibit is sponsored by Embracing Our Differences Michigan, a local nonprofit founded in 2021 under the leadership of TBE’s own Nancy Margolis, who currently serves as the organization’s president and executive director.

We will meet at 1:30 p.m. at the first parking lot on the south side of Geddes Rd. (just east of Huron Parkway). Please respond to Linda Klimach by July 3 so that we can be sure to have enough docents for the size of our group. While the open-air exhibit is free and accessible at any time, seeing it with docents and fellow Genesis members provides a great opportunity to share impressions and deepen each participant’s understanding of the panels.
